180DEGREES is an association which operates under Christian principles. You do not believe in religion? Good, nor do we. We are not subsidized by any movements looking to add followers a religion. 180 DEGREES is an independent association promoted by everyday people that hold the Bible as truth and as something that is valuable both on a personal level and a social level. We want to promote through what we do values such as tolerance, honesty, caring for others, family, equality and many other principles that are reflected in the Bible and have always been considered as foundational in any society.
Sport, work, news, fashion, politics, cars, decoration, philosophy… almost any subject can start a conversation that leads to a natural discussion of views. However, when someone speaks about the Bible or God it is quite normal for alarms bells to sound: “Be Careful! Weirdos o Bible bashers”. It is contradictory to think that in our modern society, open and tolerant, that such a topic as God or the Bible is considered Taboo.
It is true that for us the Bible is much more than a historical book. We believe what it says about Jesus, not only as a historical figure, but through whom we have the possibility of a personal relationship with God. This doesn’t make us radical or fanatics, nor adds a hidden agenda in our activities, we simply dare to speak naturally and without prejudices of what and in whom we believe. We want to be open and transparent and invite you to learn first hand what it is and how it works 180 DEGREES.
